MCC950, also known as CP-456773 or CRID3, is a potent and selective inhibitor of the NLRP3 inflammasome. MCE reports IC50 values of 7.5 nM in mouse bone-marrow-derived macrophages and 8.1 nM in human monocyte-derived macrophages. It is widely used to investigate NLRP3-dependent cytokine release, pyroptosis and inflammatory signaling.
