MCE Rapamycin

A potent mTOR inhibitor widely used in autophagy, aging, immunology and cancer research.

Product Details:

MCE Rapamycin, also known as Sirolimus, is a potent and selective inhibitor of the mammalian target of rapamycin pathway. It binds FKBP12 and subsequently inhibits mTOR complex 1 signaling.

Rapamycin is widely used to induce autophagy and investigate cell growth, metabolism, protein synthesis, immune regulation and aging-related pathways. MCE reports an IC₅₀ value of approximately 0.1 nM for mTOR inhibition in HEK293 cells.
