The Enzo Life Sciences PROTEOSTAT® Aggresome Detection Kit provides a fluorescence-based method for detecting aggresomes and related inclusion bodies in fixed cells. Its molecular-rotor dye becomes strongly fluorescent after binding to structures associated with misfolded and aggregated proteins.
The assay supports flow cytometry and fluorescence microscopy and is suitable for investigating proteostasis, autophagy, neurodegenerative disease and small-molecule modulators of protein aggregation.
