The Beyotime JC-1 Mitochondrial Membrane Potential Assay Kit detects changes in mitochondrial membrane potential. JC-1 forms red-fluorescent aggregates in healthy mitochondria and remains primarily as green-fluorescent monomers when membrane potential decreases.
