A red fluorescent endoplasmic reticulum probe for live-cell ER staining and fluorescence microscopy.
Energybiopharma ER-Tracker Red (ENG-PRB004), also named BODIPY TR Glibenclamide, is a fluorescent probe for visualizing the endoplasmic reticulum in living cells.
The probe supports studies of ER distribution and morphology, with reported excitation and emission wavelengths of 587/615 nm. Staining should be performed before fixation; the manufacturer notes that part of the fluorescent staining pattern can remain after formaldehyde treatment, but the dye is unsuitable for staining cells that have already been fixed.
