Sigma-Aldrich Phosphate Buffered Saline P4417 is supplied in tablet format for convenient buffer preparation. One tablet dissolved in 200 mL of deionized water produces approximately 0.01 M phosphate buffer containing 0.0027 M potassium chloride and 0.137 M sodium chloride at pH 7.4.
