NEB DNase I (RNase-free) is an endonuclease that nonspecifically cleaves single- and double-stranded DNA, chromatin and RNA–DNA hybrids. Digestion produces short oligonucleotide fragments with 5′-phosphorylated and 3′-hydroxylated ends.
The RNase-free formulation is suitable for removing genomic DNA from RNA preparations and eliminating DNA templates following in vitro transcription. neb.com
