A monensin-based reagent for retaining intracellular cytokines before flow-cytometry staining.
BD GolgiStop™ Protein Transport Inhibitor contains monensin and interferes with protein transport through the Golgi apparatus. It is commonly added during cell stimulation to increase intracellular retention of selected cytokines before flow-cytometric analysis.
