Thermo Fisher Scientific Alexa Fluor™ 647 NHS Ester (A20006) is an amine-reactive fluorophore for preparing far-red fluorescent bioconjugates. Its NHS ester group reacts with primary amines, including those on proteins and amine-modified oligonucleotides.
The resulting conjugates support fluorescence imaging and flow cytometry, with excitation and emission maxima of approximately 651 and 672 nm. The far-red detection channel is useful when designing multicolor fluorescence experiments. Invitrogen™
