InvivoGen Imiquimod, also known as R837, is a synthetic imidazoquinoline immune-response modifier. It selectively activates Toll-like receptor 7 in human and mouse experimental systems.
Imiquimod is commonly used to investigate TLR7-dependent NF-κB signaling, type I interferon production, inflammatory responses and immune-cell activation. Its activity has been tested using InvivoGen TLR reporter cell lines.
