A synthetic low-molecular-weight double-stranded RNA analog for activation of TLR3 and RNA-sensing pathways.
InvivoGen Poly(I:C) Low Molecular Weight is a synthetic double-stranded RNA analog composed of polyinosinic and polycytidylic acid strands. Its average molecular size ranges from approximately 0.2 to 1 kb.
Poly(I:C) LMW is primarily used to stimulate Toll-like receptor 3 and may also activate cytosolic RNA sensors under appropriate experimental conditions. Each lot is functionally tested for TLR3 activity and evaluated for bacterial lipoprotein and endotoxin contamination.
